The Resort That Wanted a "Floating Paradise"
A beach resort in Thailand came to us with a dream: they wanted a floating water park that would make their property the top destination for families. Our team started by visiting the site (virtually, thanks to video calls!) to measure the space and understand the water conditions.
We drafted three designs, each blending slides, obstacle courses, and a DWF floating where parents could relax with cocktails while watching the kids. The resort loved the second design but asked for a twist: a transparent "underwater viewing window" in the platform so guests could watch fish swim by. Our engineers got to work, testing materials to ensure the window was both clear and strong enough to withstand splashes and weight.
After three rounds of revisions (and lots of excited emails back and forth), we finalized the design. The result? A 50-foot inflatable water park with a slide shaped like a sea serpent, a floating trampoline, and that magical underwater window.
